Katie Skidmore, owner of KT Lynn

Events LLC, has always believed in

 giving back to others. A Fenton

resident and mother of a 16

year old daughter who attends

Lake Fenton High School, Katie has

spent the last 18 years dedicating

 herself to fundraising and

helping others. For 15 years, she

was an educator teaching a

bilingual 1st grade class,

kindergarten and preschool. It

was during her teaching career

that she first became interested

in fundraising by becoming

involved in Relay for Life for

Genesee County beginning in

2006. Her involvement in that

 organization peaked her

interest in event planning and

silent auctions which led to the

 beginning of her company,

KT Lynn Events.

 

KT Lynn Events has worked with a

 wide variety of organizations

across the United States. These

groups include the United Way,

 American Cancer Society, Oscar

Mike, Heart of a Lion with John

Daly and Major Ed, Mott’s

Children Hospital and National

Guards in Kentucky, Vermont and

 Pennsylvania to name a few. In

 addition, Lake Fenton and

surrounding school districts have

 benefited from her fundraising

and involvement in the Lake

 Fenton Music Boosters.

 

KT Lynn Events creates the

and creating awareness for groups

 from 20-2000! From planning,

 organizing to executing, she

will cater to the individual

needs of the organization by

providing her expertise and silent

 auction items which include

jewelry, wood art, neon signs,

sports and music memorabilia and
